Of course nobody is going to give a book for class 5 stars, but this book is all over the place. I feel sorry for anyone who finds then on their assigned readings list.

Ugh, you have to love amazon, easier than dealing with the college book store (also cheaper). Exactly as described. Rock on.
Along with Volume I by the same authors, this text is a must have for higher ed professionals working or studying the organization and governance of our systems. This text is very well-structured and written. For such a dry subject, the authors frame things with case studies and real-world applications so that a student or administrator isn't left struggling to find the ties. I recommend it.
This was a required book for a class I"m taking. It is ok but in my opinion the authors go into way more depth and analysis than necessary for most uses
